Every Sunday, people gather before worship to enjoy coffee, homemade baked goods, and conversation in our café. Throughout the week, friendships continue through small groups, ministry events, Bible studies, and opportunities to serve.

Meet Our Team
Janus & Melissa Abello
Lead Evangelist & Women's Ministry Leader
Janus and Melissa Abello have served in ministry for over 16 years and have led the Columbia Church of Christ since 2018. After starting in campus ministry at the University of Missouri and serving in Springfield, Missouri, they returned to Columbia to help lead the church's mission of making disciples and building community. They have been married for 13 years and are proud parents to their daughter, Ruth. Janus holds undergraduate and master's degrees from Mizzou, and Melissa is a licensed professional counselor and supervisor in Missouri.

Davion & Lydia Hambrick
Youth & Family Ministry
Davion and Lydia Hambrick serve as the Youth & Family Ministers at Columbia Church of Christ and help lead the Young Professionals and Worship Ministries. Married since 2018, they are the proud parents of Dylan, Lila, and Lucía. Their passion is helping people of all ages grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and experience God's love in everyday life.
Jaydin Milner
Campus Minister
Jaydin Milner joined the ministry staff after graduating from the University of Missouri, where she grew in her faith through the Alpha Omega Mizzou Campus Ministry. She is passionate about helping women deepen their relationship with God and experience His faithfulness. In her free time, Jaydin enjoys reading, movie nights with friends, and writing and producing music.
Jordan and Veronica Wetterlind
Campus Ministers
Jordan and Veronica Wetterlind herald from St. Louis, MO, and Twig, MN, respectively. Veronica is crafty and currently pursuing her Masters degree in counseling. She became a disciple in Chicago in 2018 and has been a campus minister and foreign missionary in Eastern Europe over the last few years. Jordan made Jesus Lord of his life in 2022, while in graduate school in Bridgewater, MA. Since then he has been helping people know Jesus all over the world. He enjoys watermelon and all things outdoors. The Wetterlinds met on the mission field in Sofia, Bulgaria, on the RevivALL mission team, fell in love, got married, and are excited to be serving the Lord together here in Columbia, MO.
