Heartland Prom: Starry Night

We are so excited for Heartland Prom! 

Prom will be held at the Reynold's Alumni Center on Mizzou's Campus from 7pm - 10pm. There will be dinner, dancing and fun! The lock-in will be at the ARC (Activity & Recreation Center) from 10pm - 6am. There will be lots of fun activities planned. Food, snacks and bevarages will be provided as well.

Early Bird Registration is $90 until March 31st!

On April 1st registration will go up to $100.

Code of Conduct for Teen Prom and After Party (Lock-In) Event

DRESS: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 - Attire should be modest and pleasing to God!

● Boys: Dress is semi-formal wear (no jeans). Please dress to match your date and come ready to encourage your date with a corsage.

● Girls: Semi-formal. Attire should cover everything God would want covered. We are stressing the importance of teens seeking advice from their parents as well as their teen leaders on the dress they choose (Proverbs 19:20).

● After Party dress code is casual attire and comfortable shoes. Tank tops, halter tops, midriff tops, and cut-off shorts are not allowed. Plan accordingly for the After Prom Event, have other clothes packed and with you when you come to prom.

● Teens who wish to change clothes at the After Prom party can do so in the bathrooms. Each teen will be responsible for storing their prom dress and/or suit.

EXPECTATIONS: 1 Timothy 4:12 - Set example of speech, conduct, love, purity and faith.

● If someone is suspected to have been drinking prior to arrival, the parent will be phoned and asked to pick up their teen.

● Anyone not in attendance to the After Prom Event by 10:45 pm will not be admitted and their parents called.

● Everyone is to help clean up at 5:00 am. Teens may not leave the event until 5:30am, or if they are checked out by a parent.

● Please respect entertainment staff, volunteers, equipment and facility property.

● Teens are expected to refrain from foul language, harassment, and horseplay.

● Music may be played on devices, but any music considered offensive by Youth and Family Leadership is not allowed.

● Clean up after yourself.

● There will be quiet spaces for those needing rest. No music or conversation in these areas please; quiet only.

● Do not do anything that you do not want to see on social media or your Mom/Dad to see.

● Teens should use only designated areas of the ARC for the event. Please respect the volunteers if you are redirected.
