Lead Evangelist & Women's Ministry Leader

Janus and Melissa Abello have been disciples for almost 20 years, married for 13 years, and have been serving in the ministry for over 16 years.  They began their ministry career in campus ministry at the University of Missouri.  Then following that served as lead ministers in Springfield, MO.  Then moved back in 2017 to Columbia and took on the role of Lead Evangelist + Women's Ministry leader in 2018 of the Columbia Church of Christ.  They welcomed their daughter Ruth into the world in 2019.  Janus has an undergrad and masters degree from the University of Missouri.  Melissa is also a licensed professional counselor + supervisor in the state of Missouri.

Jaydin Milner

College Ministry

Jaydin Milner grew up in the northland region of Kansas City, Missouri. In March of 2018 she declared Jesus Lord of her life as a sophomore in high school. Jaydin graduated with a BA in psychology and a minor in creative writing from the University of Missouri in Spring of 2024. After strengthening her faith and making lifelong friendships through the Alpha Omega Mizzou Campus Ministry she decided to go into full time ministry! Jaydin has a deep passion for helping women encounter the goodness and faithfulness of Gods character in their lives. Jaydin said, “I am extremely grateful to be trained and serve alongside such a humble staff here in COMO.” Outside of ministry work she’s an avid reader, enjoys movie night with friends, and uses her talent of singing to write and produce music alongside other disciples!
